LOOK! A LEGO® CARNIVAL!

Okay, a FUN activity for a change...( like none of the activities thus far haven't been oodles of fun ). I have noticed many of my students are preoccupied with carnivals, parks and the circus. Often teams will get together and build the "ultimate theme park" ( I have seen the "Atlantis Theme Park" and the "Crazy Theme Park" two examples ) complete with jails and a "special park just for babies!"

To be honest, I allow for a great deal of the student's own involvement in the carnival! I usually require bathrooms, receptacles for trash and some sort of food service ( a hot dog stand for example )...otherwise they are on their own. When students burn out on building robots and such, suggesting we build the ultimate carnival is usually a great bandwagon! It makes for great teamwork and the results are always a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures of some carnival rides some intrepid students built!

Don and the Wild Rocket Ride
The Wild Rocket Ride!
The Wild Rocket Ride in Motion!
The Incredible Revamped Bee Ride With Moving Wings!
A Carousel!!! ( As it turns the horses would move up and down! )
Another Shot of the Carousel!
The Horse Ride!
The World's LARGEST LEGO® ROLLER COASTER!!!

Okay weblanders...let's see some cool Lego® carnivals out there!
